why don't the starter motor activate when the key is turn to the start position?
Could be a number of faults.Ign switch,needs replaced or adjusted,starting or number 2 ign. circuit faulty,bad starter,or bad connection from battery to ign switch,or from ign switch,to starter solenoid.If you have an A/T it may be a neutral safety switch,faulty or needing readjustment. The tilt wheel may cause no ingaugement of the contacts in the switch,but more likely in cold weather. It may be the ground circuit brushes in the starter stuck or worn thin,bad connection.Try tapping on the starter body while tryting to start engine.
