Checking a fuel pump

on some cars, there is a test lead on the driver's side under the hood between the master cylinder and fender.....or the old school way of testing it would be to turn the key on and pound the gas tank with a hammer.

you need a fuel pump guage. it is cheaper to have a shop check it than buy the tool. Roy
