i had a cassete adapter that got stuck i managed to get it out but it still wont switch back to radio and it still trying to eject tape thats no longer in there

Just put in a cassette you don't want, or one that you want to be in there for a long time.
Once inserted, you can switch to radio without ejecting the tape.
If that does not work, you can try a powder lubricant on a tape, insert it and attempt to eject the tape over and over to see if the powder will free the stuck portion.
Unfortunately, if these do not work out, the unit has to come out, and you will have to manually operate the swiss-watch-like components inside the tape player until you find a way to release it.
