What is your question?
I don't hear anything when key turned to start. My 93 Plymouth Voyager minivan with 4 cyl, 2.5L Chrysler eng, was running fine until we had 26° weather over 12 hrs. Then wouldn't start. Mobile mech. came to home, replaced batt. It started. Drove 8mi round trip. 3days later, it won't start or click. Neighbor tested batt, shows 12v. Lights, dash work. Check eng light blinks out code 12. Don't know what code 12 means as far as identifying problem. I don't 't hear any noises. Not aware of leaks. Neighbor accid pulled out anti theft 'chip'? under dash at right of steer column. He had nvr seen one b4. Pushed it bk in all the way. Wasn't sure if that could shut down engine.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing has changed.
How long has your 1993 Plymouth Voyager had this problem?

Hello, a battery showing 12 V does not indicate that it is fully charged or able to accept a load. It just means that there's 12 volts present, but it could be almost zero amps. As a result, you'll have to have the battery professionally tested for state of charge. Once you know you have a fully charged battery -- if the vehicle still does not start -- then testing must continue, checking battery cables for secure connection on both sides of each cable, plus being free of corrosion, checking the starter motor for the ability to crank, and checking all fuses to make sure none are blown. Beyond that -- yes, the "anti theft chip" could be the cause of your concern. These aftermarket (non-Chrysler) devices could be malfunctioning or perhaps that chip is inserted incorrectly. It's too hard to know without hands on testing. I would strongly recommend removing and defeating any of these devices, as you could be chasing the concern with no resolution when a non-factory device is installed and malfunctioning.
