I do not see a 2.4 engine listed for that vehicle. But, I will assume it has a 2.5. What I would do. Check for good voltage at B+ side of the ignition coil. Fix if it is not there with key on. Verify that the distributor is turning. If not, check the timing belt. To check the new distributor. Locate the distributor pick-up connector. There should be three wires going to it. Orange wire should have about 8 volts key on or cranking. The Black/Blue wire should have 0 volts, that is a ground circuit. The Grey/Black wire should have 5 volts on the harness side, with the connector unplugged. There should be a 5 volt square wave when it is plugged in and cranking. Hope this helps. Dale
