Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Grand Voyager. Your van's sputtering at start, idle, and while driving could point to several potential issues. A common culprit is a problem with the ignition system, such as worn-out spark plugs, bad spark plug wires, or a failing ignition coil. These can cause misfires, leading to sputtering and hesitation. Another possibility is a fuel delivery issue, such as a dirty fuel injector, low fuel pressure, or a failing fuel pump. Additionally, a dirty or faulty idle air control (IAC) valve or mass airflow (MAF) sensor could disrupt the air-fuel mixture, causing sputtering. These issues can be challenging to diagnose, so it may be best to consult a trusted repair shop for a diagnosis. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
