rear wiper motor

What is your question?

I pulled the back off of the rear wiper motor to find out why it was blowing fuses. I found a broken wire, but cannot see where it would go. It is not one of the wire cables going to either brush. It is a very fine solid wire. Anyone have an idea where it would go?
