I took the bottom bolt off the alternator and it loosened the belt enough to get it off the pulley. I have a 4 cylinder motor
Look under the hood for a belt routing diagram, you should have one. Check your belt routing and make sure it's going around the pulleys it should. Your car has a spring loaded tensioner that you can loosen to get the belt on and then release for it to hold the belt.
