Ok so I changed the engine in our 2000 Olds Silhouette. Now it has a2002 Engine.

What is your question?

We were driving down the road quite a ways and It was really running good. Than all of a sudden the dash lights went out and all the gauges drop to nothing. Would that be a from altenator going out or not hooked up right. Could it be a fuse anything feed back would be apperiated. Thanks

sounds like either there is wiring harness is pinched, or a wiring harness/plug that may not be plugged in all the way

I looked but Ill look again. My Dumba$$ brother put tranny fluid in the powersteering and it boiled out of the cap. I wonder if some got onto the altenator and shorted it out. I havent really checked the fuses yet. I had it runnin and went to pull pos cable off and didnt even get it off and it died just loosened it a lil. Other than that it runs like a champ. Im kinda proud of myself. Thanks for the imput.
