Hi I was wiondering how long approximately would (should) ittake to replace a timing chain on an 1999 silhouette. I have been given 3 different estimates and I wanted to know which is the best one that represents the actual time not overly inflated. Thanks so much kim xx

The parts from cloyes gear is approx $144 ( 3 piece set )and the time to remove and replace is about 8 hours, Have them change the complete three piece set while they have the engine apart. There is also other gaskets, coolant and oil that has to be added to the estimate,
