Auto zone have workshop manuals for many popular vehicles on there website for free, you have to register to there site but its free. There is a company that independent auto repair shops "buy" their information from that offer a very reasonable service to do it yourselvers. You get a one year subscription to year make and model specific repair procedures, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... great quality information same as the professionals have ,much better than generic workshop manuals from parts stores, much cheaper than the factory manual. http://www.alldatadiy.com/ Having the proper instructions will help.
You have to remove the lower center console to get to the heater core i can provide you with the illustrations you may need for free just make your request to sinautoscan.com under forum ask for some diagrams the tools you would need is some screw drivers a rachet with a set of sockets some extensions and that should cover it
