stalling in reverse, idling high, fluids full

i was going in reverse when the car stalled and the check engine and low oil level light came on. I checked oil, full, yet in park, car is idling at 1 1/2 rpm. Driving its not under 1 rpm even when at 0 mph. Power steering pump replaced 2 days ago. what is wrong?
