Hi! This is Bo with Car Genius at RepairPal! Aw no! We've got to keep this classic on the road! There's a bunch of reasons it could be behaving like this. 1. Fuel system: Check the fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel injectors for proper operation and clogging. A lack of fuel delivery can prevent the engine from starting. 2. Ignition system: Inspect the ignition coil, spark plugs, and ignition module for wear or malfunction. Faulty ignition components can cause intermittent starting issues. 3. Electrical connections: Ensure all electrical connections, including those to the battery, starter, and ignition system, are clean and tight. 4. Crankshaft position sensor: A failing sensor can lead to starting problems. Have it tested and replaced if necessary. 5. Engine compression: Low compression can prevent the engine from starting. Perform a compression test to check the condition of the cylinders. It's really just going to take picking a starting point and going from there. Feel free to use RepairPal.com to find a certified shop if you don't want to start digging into this on your own! If you have any other questions feel free to call us at 877-913-1554!
