Hello, if the water only happens when it rains, it would not likely be related to the evaporator moisture. This moisture produces water with air conditioning system operation, as the system removes moisture from the interior and releases it through the drain. If you get a water puddle when it rains, consider a possible moonroof drain being plugged (if equipped), or a windshield seal leak to start with (especially if your windshield was replaced at some point along the life of the vehicle). Water testing is necessary to find out point of entry. Start with a moonroof drain if your vehicle has one.
