Hello, I'm not sure which engine you have, however, there are normally casting plugs (freeze plugs) on the rear of the engine block. There can also be coolant temperature sensors, coolant piping and hoses, heater hoses which carry coolant, intake manifold leaks, head gasket leaks, or, in some cases, a manifold for the distribution of coolant. If you want to view inside the bell housing to check for leaks at the rear of the engine, use a bore-scope, remove the starter, and look through that hole. If you want be positive of the leak, use a UV dye in the coolant, and a UV flashlight so you can see the leak as it comes out.
