What is your question?
The oil and filter is freshly change, high grade synthetic. New engine air filter in. While in drive and accelerating sometimes the car will stop or jerk. The car can still move forward but jerks with deceleration, with loud clunking sound. Then will "catch" and accelerate like normal. If I had to describe it it feels almost like if you were running on ice, your legs are going but cant grip ground so you're not moving, but there's spots of asphalt so you stutter forward a little. Each time it does this at first then drives normally, but still loud noise from hood. Only once did the car completely stop moving forward, even with foot on gas and accelerator going into the high rpm's. Turned off and on and it moved forward. This issue is only while in drive and only the first time car is turned on and accelerating in drive, with no problems or sound while in park, reverse, neutral or low gear.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Worse while just starting to drive after starting car.
How long has your 2014 Nissan Versa Note had this problem?
month at most.

Have you checked the transmission fluid level and condition? I believe this vehicle has a CVT - continuously variable transmission. This requires specific special fluid to operate, and must be full and clean. Engagement in gear and revving the engine with no movement sounds like a transmission concern, so focus attention there.
