moisture in the air can cause missfire in secondary ignition parts, (plugs, wires, cap etc.)
possible water dripping off roof onto vehicle or under the hood causing miss fire in the ignition system ??, when where the ignition parts replaced last?, also you can take a spray bottle of water and while the engine is running lightly mist the wires cap ect and look/listen for spark discharge (snapping sound) if so replace ignition components and use dielectric compound on contacts as to seal out moisture, check plugs for wear and gap, replace if worn, large gap can cause high amperage and spark discharge especially when moisture is present, also make sure the rubber o ring at the base of the distributor cap is in good condition and is positioned correctly.
