What is your question?
I've replaced the heater control actuator that mounts to the firewall. Everything is functioning normally except at startup. At startup, the climate controls send signal to actuator causing it to continue to be activated despite being at the end of its stroke on the valve movement. The tattle tale on this is the clicking noise that the heater control actuator makes at startup. The head unit continues to push signal to actuator signaling it to continue to move valve towards full hot or full cold. Instead of stopping, the motor in the actuator continues to send signal which then is trying to move the gears in the box, causing a "clicking" noise because motor is moving drive gear but driven gear on valve is stopped(not stuck) at its "full open/shut" position. Why is this happening with the "new" actuator? The old one never "clicked".
