Car won’t excelerate on highway rpms ramp up and back down

Hello, when the RPM's go up but the vehicle will not accelerate, it sounds like the transmission may be slipping and losing engagement. Have the transmission fluid level checked and ensure it is at the proper level. Diagnostic testing may be required to see why the transmission is losing engagement at those times.
