What causes a thumping noise when going over bumps and the rear end to sway?

Hello, I would have your front and rear suspension checked for any loose or worn components. Once that is resolved, I would have a 4 wheel alignment performed to ensure all angles are within proper specifications. It's possible there is a rear suspension issue, but it's just a guess until evaluation occurs.
