When I start car and drive off I hear a bumping sound in front end then it stops

I have heard others commenting aboout noise on initial acceleration that was determined to be "sticky" front sway bar (stabilizer bar) bushings - nothing to be concerned about but just an aggravating "thump or clunk" sound. I have heard mine do that when I accelerate and turn onto a main road a couple of blocks from my house after the car has been sitting a while. Not sure if yours is the same issue, but unless my noise gets a lot worse, I will just consider it a quirk of the vehicle. I guess some WD40 or another lubricant might help.
