I need to Replace the overhead console , is it difficult to do?

tried changing a bulb for my interior lights and while doing it broke off one of the circuit leads to the bulb, now neither side of the lights work. The sun roof buttons work but none of the lights .

How long has your 2008 Nissan Maxima had this problem?
