Replaced thermostat, doesn't overheat, all fan speeds work, all vents work except middle 2 face dash vents, when eng is normal operating temp and fans kicked in upper rad hose is hot but lower by thermostat is still cold, I've purged system, full of coolant(but dirty even almost immediately after replacing), no coolant smell inside, no visible leaks or coolant loss, Strange clicking/rattling sound from dashboard when key is turned to anything except off, power steering whines but no ps fluid loss(although slightly dirty fluid), slight burning (oil maybe? Or like plastic?) smell from engine intermittently, EVAP gross leak DTC P0455, rough mechanical whirring noise when changing fan modes, all fan modes work as well far as I can tell it's just when I try to increase temperature and shut AC off the air doesn't get hot. It will get kind of warm if I am at operating temp and going about 60 or so mph or higher rpms. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated trying to fix b4 winter come
How long has your 2004 Nissan Maxima had this problem?
