I recently was told the reason my steering wheel was vibrating when I accelerate was b/c my Cylinder 5 was misfiring and the reason they didn't find it was that they did a minor not major tune-up. Does this make sense? Should this repair cost $400?

I would try to replace the ignition coil on that cylinder first.
