Diagnostic plug-in indicated EVAP leak. I had a smoke test performed and the canister purge-valve was bad. I replaced the valve and I need to reset the system to get the light off but I don't know how with this vehicle. Can anybody help?

you can remove the battery cable for a few minutes and re attach it. it will take about 3 days for the monitor to set. if it fails, the light will return at that time. if it comes back right away, there is an electrical fault still there. Roy
Thanks, I am trying that now... I'll let you know how it turned out. OK, I pulled the battery for 30 min., reconnected and the light is still on. What would I look for electrically at the plug to tell if it's that, A voltage or a resistance between a pin and ground?
you need to check for 12 volts at one plug with the key on and the return is the pcm. you need a shop with a scan tool that can turn the solenoid on and off to verify the pcm commands. Roy
