Any auto shop in your area should be able to do it if they have a 3, 4 or 5 gas analyzer. If you have smog inspection in your state, then go to a shop that performs smog inspections. Make sure they note the HC reading on your repair order. Anything over 50 ppm indicates a leaking head gasket or cracked head/block.
Snap on, Matco and Napa sell a cooling system tester that looks for hydrocarbons in the cooling system. It draws "gasses" out of the cooling system (into a funnel like device that sits on top of the radiator or coolant expansion tank) through a chemical that is blue but turns green or yellow in the presence of hydrocarbons in the cooling system. http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=shop&item_ID=69954&group_ID=1505&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog I know I saw one on line some where fro around $55. Great tool I use it all the time.
