I have a 1998 Nissan Maxima and the front brake pads and rotors are wearing way too fast. For the past two years, I've had to replace the rotors each time I replaced the brake pads. In as little as 3 - 4 months, I've had to replace both. Prior to, I replaced the rotors every 3-4 brake pad change and periodically only needed to machine them. This isn't normal and I know something's wrong. The front wheels smoke and have an excessive amount of soot that comes from the front brakes/rotors. I've taken it to the dealership several times only to be told, I'm probably driving too hard or they can't find anything. My driving pattern hasn't changed and has been the same since I bought the car in 1998. Please help...
