Car starts up runs for a min or 2 then shuts off

There are a ton of reasons the car could do this. The simplest answer would be carbon on the intake valves soaking up the fuel on cold start. You could try some Chevron Techron or BG44K to clean the carbon off the valves. Is the check engine light on? If it is have it scanned to try to narrow the problem down.
