i have the exact same problem with my nissan, i removed the cat and checked the fuel pressure and i still have the problem, did you ever figure out what the problem was???

It may be your mass air flow sensor.

I had same problem and changed my coil and Bam good as new!

I HAVE HAD ALOT OF NISSAN HARDBODYS AND IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR EGR VALVE REPLACE IT AND YOU SHOULD BE FINE. IT WILL FINALLY GET WERE IT WANT RUN AT ALL.

i have the same problem with my 87 pathfinder ive replaced everything and even cut off the catylitic converter and still does the same thing
