What is your question?
I have a 90 Nissan D21 Pickup. It Boggs and sputter when it reaches operating temp. I've changed fuel pump, fuel hoses, fuel filter, egr valve and solenoid, vacuum lines, iac valve, coolant sensor, injector seals, timing chain, new exhaust, o2 sensor, tune up, new distributor and new water pump. I really need some help, can't figure out what is causing the problem.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Once engine gets hot
How long has your 1990 Nissan D21 had this problem?
For weeks

Hello, In situations like this, I don't like to make recommendations on repair. Instead, I say the same thing every time: have it diagnosed before buying any more parts. Obviously if you have the skill to change the timing chain yourself, you likely have fixed many issues on vehicles before, but when you start noticing that the normal fixes aren't working, it is a good idea to pay a diagnostic fee instead of dumping parts into it. That being said, the issue is likely that the engine is getting too much air or not enough fuel. Before the engine is at operating temperature, the engine control module will be running the engine rich on fuel similar to how engines used to have chokes. You may have a leaking air intake tube, no filter, or the filter housing may be letting too much air through to the throttle body.
Thanks....I really appreciate your input. I really have put a lot of money into this truck. I don't have the time to work on it like I would like, taking it to a shop is definitely my next move.
No problem at all, let me know if you have any questions or concerns, replying here will send me an email.
