do you know of a problem for 2002 montero sport oil leak, ruins alternator?

I suggest checking the PCV (vent) system to see if it is working. The 3.0 and the 3.5 are known for cam seals and or o-ring problems. I have found it best to leave off the skid plate, steam clean engine good, dry off, add dye, run engine and then use a uv light to locate the leak.
