Had new key made using rear door lock.car turns over won't start

Car ran fine.lost the key.took lock out of rear door hatch.had key made. Put into ignition.steering wheel turns radio works car turns over won't start. Starts on starting fluid then dies. New fuel pump fuel filter fuel relay.
