Has anyone painted the floor carpet?

I have a blue 2021 mirage g4. Because of snow and salt where i live there are salt stains on my floor carpet. I would like to touch up the gray carpet to cover the stains. Has anyone done that?

What makes this problem better or worse?

I had inside detailed but there are salt spots that dont come out
