What is your question?
I have change the TPS I've changed the fuel regulator I have checked the relay. It's good, now my last thing is the ECU. I've heard and read that the caps on the ECU are bad. What exactly is that?Thank you for any help out there and God bless. It runs fine when you first start it up, go about 3 miles when it warms up to operating temperature and it jumps, hesitates real bad it's like something is stuck in the fuel jets. But it's not . It jumps and it just has no acceleration whatsoever. You can hold the pedal at almost idle speed, and it'll run 35 miles an hour until it shifts gears, and then it'll go a little bit faster. But you cannot push the gas pedal and it accelerate. It jumps and hesitates back and forth back and forth. So my last attempt to fix it is? The ECU caps are bad is what I've read. what exactly is that, and how do you fix it. I'm a DIY kind of guy. Very mechanically inclined. but this one's got me stumped. PLEASE HELP Thanks FOOT.

Hello, not sure about the "ECU caps". I do know that it is unusual for the processors to be the failed component in a vehicle concern -- typically it is input related -- the sensors or physical components that feed data back to the processors. Interesting enough, you mention it's fine until it warms up -- this is when the processor starts reading the data from the various sources and adjusts fuel and air mixtures along with ignition operation accordingly. My thought is you still likely have an air / fuel mixture concern causing a lack of power. You could also have something as basic as a restricted exhaust system. All of this requires hands on testing. It is true that with an OBD I vehicle, it is not as easy to inspect and diagnose as a newer vehicle. Even mechanically inclined folks have some difficulty without a proper manual and diagnostic test equipment. Good luck.
