alternator repair

dude my battery is new, then after i use my mghty max take her for a spin, after i shut off the engine then i start it again it wont start, sounds like the batt is drain and the engine cranks very slowly, sometimes it wont start,would it be possible the alternator is bad or something else is wrong? pls do ans my question thnks dudes

Bad alternator or poor/corrided connections. Check battery voltage while engine running, should read 13 volts or higher

thanks dude, im confused, is it possible maybe its just a loose wire connection? coz it still starts but after using it i have to wait 30 to 40 mins for it to start again, thnks dude really appreciate your reply, filipino mechanics are not so good in this stuff
