Rear air does not blow cool

We have a new compressor and hose for the front of the van. After we had it charged it works great, in the front. With a passenger in the back, they noticed that the rear air was not cooling, when we looked, all the buttons (in the rear and front) were in the correct positions. Is there any idea on what can cause this. It actually seems to be blowing out hotter air than it would be if the heat was on.
