What makes this problem better or worse?
exists only when the key is off.
How long has your 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis had this problem?

Hello, no, it's not the PCM. Parasitic draw is found when putting an amp probe on the battery cable to detect draw with the key off and removed from the vehicle. If you're seeing a significant draw, the next step is to remove fuses from the under hood fuse box first one by one until the draw disappears. Once it disappears, you know which circuit you have to investigate. Then, a wiring diagram helps determine possible related and affected components and wiring areas.
