our dash lights will go temporarily but it keeps running fine

The instrument cluster of this vehicle is actually a computer module - the "IC Module". As such, it sends and receives data through CAN networking lines, as well as receiving electrical power. What has to be determined is what is happening when the problem occurs. A high quality diagnostic tool with the capability of measuring and inspection and monitoring data for "body" components, like the IC Module, is needed so that you can see what happens. You could have a wiring concern or a module concern, hard to say until testing is performed.
