What is your question?
I have a 2005 grand marquis that will dies without warning while being driven. Upon first looking into the possible issues found it vould be a bad throttle position sensor so changes that and cleaned the throttle body. Didnt solve the problem so changes the idle control valve and still no change in the car dying while driving. What are other causes to this to keep happening?

DOES THE PROBLEM HAPPEN ONLY WHEN YOUR AT IDLE OR WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD.IF AT IDLE YOU MAY NEED TO DO IDLE RELEAN.START CAR LET IDLE FOR 30 SECONDS THEN REV ENGINE TO 2000 RPMS FOR 30 SECONDS THE LET IDLE 30 SECONDS AND REV TO 2000 RPMS FOR 30 SECONDS. THEN TURN AC ON AND TURN STERRING WHEEL ALL THE WAY ONE WAY FOR 30 SECONDS AT IDLE THE DRIVE.
anyone find an answer to this yet because my 06 Mercury Mountaineer does the same thing shuts off without warning ..was on highway and it just shut off I barely just made it by coasting to side just in time
Yes we found a shop that figured out what was wrong. It was something within the fuel system, i believe the fuel filter or fuel pump for the diagnostic and repair we paid about $250. It was full of gunk and the fuel wasn't flowing through the system efficiently enough to keep the car running.
It happens as I'm driving down the road without warning. It'll will start back up after turning the car off for 30 seconds
My 2004 does the same thing at shop right now...Did you fix yours and what was wrong???
No not yet. Took it to a shop for a diagnosis and they said they couldn't figure it out. Let me know what they say about yours.
I will let you know
I have 92 grand and mine did the same thing took it to different shops and they couldn't find nothing until about a month ago I was getting the oil change and it was on the machine and I was under it just looking and noticed what looked like gas leak by the pump seal and it was so got the whole pump put on, didn't have any problems with that since, I can drive 2 to 4 hours straight now with no problem
