Air conditioning works fine until you have to excellerate. Then the air is throwm up into deforst mode. After you decelerate the a/c drops back down to vents location. John

This is usually caused by a vacuum leak. A line that supplies vacuum to the selector, line going to one of the vacuum actuators or a vacuum actuator itself is leaking.
Thank you for your answer. Would these vacuum lines be under the dash or under he hood?
The supply would go from under the hood to the dash controls. From there multiple lines under the dash for the vacuum actuators. Sorry to say but the leak could be in any one of these lines, the dash controller, or the actuators themselves. If you have a vacuum reservoir under the hood it could be leaking there or the line to it also. I have traced down leaks with a hand vacuum pump before, but it it tedious and time consuming.
