Code p0720 output shaft speed sensor replaced engine light and od flashing light came back on what do i do now

Hello, that trouble code doesn't mean the sensor is faulty necessarily -- it means there's an issue with the information from that sensor. Monitoring data from the sensor -- is there any? Is it erratic? How is the output shaft? The rubber seal at the end of the extension housing? Is there looseness where the shaft comes out, possibly causing an erratic reading?
