Car overheated and will not start now. Replaced thermostat. Engine turns.

Sounds like a major component failed. Cracked block? Head gasket? I would call a shop and have it looked at.

i had the same issue with mine, it was intake manifold cracked. seems to be a prob;em with a lot of them while they used plastic parts. fairly pricey job. needed to blow out coolant system too...
