What is your question?
The soft top button flashes but will not stay lite and operate the tops. also, the roll bar button will not raise or lower the roll bar. Battery voltage with car running is 14.4v, so it is not a low voltage issue. I have checked the fuses and they are ok. I have only had the car a few months and the soft top will operate sometimes and then not operate for quite a while, then I manage to operate it again. Is there a controller I should trouble shhot or replace (where is it located). Thx

Hello, Yes, there is a control module and relay underneath the rear passenger side seat (Occasional seat). For the roll bar, you may have a bad relay (same location) for that as well, and testing is done with a hand-held tester, or a computerized scanner with the correct dongle. You can test the circuit with just a multimeter by testing the switch, and checking for power along the circuit until you find where it is lost.
Hi Casey, Yes I have done some research which also suggests it may be a faulty or loose relay for the roll bar or soft top, but I still have been unable to confirm the location of these relays. Your response is appreciated but the is no rear seat in my SL600, there is just a small flip open compartment. In the bottom of the compartment there is a removable panel, under which I found some sort of module (about the size and shape of a PC hard drive) but there were no relays in this area. So I am still looking for confirmation on where the roll bar and soft top relays are located. In the right hand side of the trunk above the battery there are 2 green relays (with 30amp fuses in them) but I think they are for the fuel pump because when I pulled one out the engine stopped running. Thx for your help, Terry
