System acts like it's muted but the muted button is not depressed. Music was playing fine while parked, key was rapidly turned off then back on and the SOS phone button depressed (no phone conencted, nothing in dock) for radio, then no sound. Tried disconnecting batter (never doing that again) still no audio w. Check fuses all look good, even f61 & f66. Please advise on how to fix. I think maybe the keyfob buttons were pushed in some combnation to mute system: IDK Thanks, Kathy

Get owners manual out. Why was rapid used? Why did you press the phone button? We would need to check for power to the head.
Reply #2 I have the owners manuals and it indicates nothing regarding lack of audio. Bloggers with the same problems believe it's either the amplifier (out or connection loose)or fuse. I will check amp. I had vehicle services at Milts in August 2013 and the team there did a fantastic job, very very helpful, explained everything they did, and since I was headed on a road trip to AZ and back they gave it the once over to ensure engine was sound tires and brakes were in good shape (I had just purchased the car the month before and wanted to get the oil changed before heading to AZ) I am going back for the Schedule B maintenance next month. I was hoping to have music well before then :) otherwise I'll ask techs to look into problem. Milts is well worth the drive over the bridge for me, totally trustworthly! Thanks! buttons depressed by minor nephew (17) waiting in vehicle listening to radio while I was in the store. Is there any way I can check power to the head or do I have to go to repair shop?
