Can I fix the pneumatic system myself for the trunk?

My trunk would not retract and I just had the the related pneumatic system repaired by an MB dealer. The problem was the small pneumatic pump located in the trunk near the battery. If this is your problem it seems like an easy fix. You can order the replacement pump online.
