TRY THIS FIRST. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrzDLGdnNWs I just saw a video on the 2002 model about the ESP BAS failure. Mercedes says the unit needs replacing , at a cost of over $6000.00 US funds JUST for the unit. The guy went to pull out the unit and found that the harness rubs on the frame right near the connector to the unit. ONE wire gets grounded. He repaired the wire , started it up & sure enough DONE, no more light. HERE.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DPP6S74tjY
