how to correct rear air suspension problem

Had this problem in the 90s with Lincoln Town Cars. The main system components include an air compressor and air shocks, with air lines running from one to the other. Most often, the problem stemmed from a perforated air shock, which caused the air compressor to be overworked and fail. If your car is practically sitting on the ground then it means there is no air in the bags, which can be due to a leak somewhere in the system, the compressor failed, or the fuse is blown. I would start with checking the fuse and work back from there.
