How do I jump start? The positive/negative terminals are not obvious

You have a normal battery under the hood. Passenger side near the firewall. One side has a negative symbol and the other positive. It's marked on the battery. You may also have a red cover on the positive. The positive has a few larger wires leading to it. If you aren't sure then the best bet is to call a towing service for help. Alex
