What is your question?
SRS malfunction at startup. After scanning the Left B-Pillar acceleration sensor has no value (00000000) I removed the drivers side B pillar trim but could not find a sensor. Where is it located?
How long has your 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE350 had this problem?
Since I bought it 3 weeks ago

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. The left B-pillar acceleration sensor in your GLE350 should be located behind the trim panel you've already removed. It's usually mounted on or near the B-pillar structure itself, typically on the metal frame, near the seatbelt assembly, or on the roofline, just above the trim. It might be a bit tricky to spot because of its placement, but check the area where the wiring harness enters the pillar. If you still can't find it, you might want to consult a repair manual specific to your model or contact a repair shop for assistance. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
