What is your question?
Every morning with cold start. CAN C network will multifuntion preventing ISM from shifting gears. A message appears on the dash to drive to shop without shifting gears. All the dash signals and light indicators go haywire. Wiper engage erratically. If the car is switched off, emergency ISM engage and the car will not restart for missing drive authorization. Only after disconnecting the main battery, the car would start and the error will not apear again, until the next day. After several attempts of diagnostic, I found that when disconnecting TPM module from CAN C main network distributor solves the problem. The TPM works fine and provides accurate readings for all tire pressures. I checked, all ground connections, voltage to TPM, CAN C wiring continuity, the resistance of the TPM module, the resistance of all the terminals of CAN C distributors both main and rear, all CAN C modules connections, water accumulation under driver's seat and rear load compartment sides. No issues.
What makes this problem better or worse?
This problem occurs ONLY in cold weather below 70 deg. F. I found MB issued a flash for TPM module including models 2013 and 2014. This is late production 2010 with 1 TPM module for control and ant.
How long has your 2010 Mercedes-Benz GL550 had this problem?
